Dental Reunion FAQ

  • Do I need to register in advance?

We highly encourage registering for all events before registration closes on Friday, April 26, 2024 to ensure your spot. However, we will do our best to remain flexible and accommodate walk-ins to the best of our ability.

  • Will I be able to cancel my registration if I need to?

The deadline to cancel your reservation(s) is April 22, 2024

  • Is parking available on campus?

    • On-campus parking is in high demand and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Southwest Quad Parking Garage. Dental Reunion staff are unable to validate parking for event attendance.
    • Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are an easy and convenient way to find transportation. We recommend using taxi services, Uber/Lyft, and shuttle transportation as much as possible. Taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts can be ordered to the Med-Dent Building (3900 Reservoir Road), Georgetown University Conference Center (Thomas & Dorothy Leavey Center), Healy Gates or the Wagner Alumni House (3604 O Street). Please note that Uber and Lyft will require downloading an application on your phone, while taxis can be reached at various numbers. The number for Yellow Cab Company of DC is: 202-544-1212
  • Are family and friends invited?

You are more than welcome to bring guests—including family, friends, and kids!

  • What if I have special needs?

Please let us know about any necessary accommodations — including dietary requirements or accessibility needs — during registration by emailing gumcengagement@georgetown.edu or calling 202-687-6673. We will do our best to accommodate your needs with at least seven days notice.

  • What are resources for childcare?

White House Nannies: Our recommended childcare provider may be able to provide fully screened and agency-qualified caregivers for individual needs during the weekend. To book a caregiver through White House Nannies, call (800) 266-9024 Toll Free 088 or email info@whitehousenannies.com and reference Georgetown Reunion Weekend.

Student Employment Office: The Student Employment Office serves as a clearinghouse for students available for babysitting positions, but it is not a direct matching service. To employ childcare services from Georgetown students, go to the student employment website, click on Off-Campus Employers, then click on Post a Job and complete the required information. We recommend that you post your request at least one week in advance. Please call 202-687-4187 for more information.

Personal Referrals: You can also seek recommendations from classmates or organize babysitters for groups.

  • Whom can I contact for more information?
